the greatest memory with my dad
is the one where
we are sitting
in a rowboat
in the middle
of Lake Ontario nothing is said
and nothing needs to be said
no pressure
tiny waves
swish swashing around the boat
and the infinite horizon
of the lake.
also
this never happened.
